I always recommend a trip to Tenby to my visitors staying at my eco studio in Manorbier. Tenby is the jewel of Pembrokeshire. You can enjoy leaving the car behind whilst staying in Manorbier. There are options you can walk to Tenby from Manorbier, take in the views whilst walking along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path. Alternatively you could take a ten minute bus ride to Tenby, and walk back to Manorbier, or just enjoy the day walking down to the pretty harbour enjoying all the painted houses, having an ice cream, and relaxing on one of Tenby’s four beaches.#pembrokeshirecoastaccommodation#pembrokeshireholidays manorbier#tenby#pembrokeshire

My guests love Tenby, I like to recommend a great circular walk down to the harbour, around Castle , visit the little museum and the Lifeboat station.Unfortunately, all that remains of Tenby Castle is a tower. Which would you prefer even on an Autumn day an ice cream, or tea and Welsh cakes?

I had a brilliant idea today for a new free natural skin care products for my self catering guests for 2027 onwards. It is only quick 6 minute walk from the Sea Breeze Beach House to Manorbier Beach. I decided that using french names for the products they sounded quite upmarket for branding possibilities. Perhaps I am wrong, but Beach Shrub and Salt Water Spritz do not do it for me! Do you think the French versions sound more classy? I am looking forward to your comments!!! I have finally got around to engage with social media again. If it was in my school report it would probably say”Could try harder”. 🤣😂. Let me introduce myself. I am Katherine, the owner of the Sea Breeze Beach House in Manorbier on the Pembrokeshire Coast.

Sunday giggles well it was for me today! I woke up drew back the curtains and cleverly this Welsh Black Mountain Sheep was sitting relaxing by the two chairs in the field opposite. These chairs crack me up I know not why! The field is owned by my neighbours and their grandchildren play tag, and move the chairs in a random fashion anyway the tack sheep enjoyed the chairs! What made you laugh this Sunday?

@manorbieraccommodation Solo trip. Something I’ve never been comfortable with. I like company. I love a little solo hike or day trip but, a whole weekend? Entering a pub alone, walking into a restaurant and a cafe - quite frankly, terrifying. Turns out, I just needed to put my big girl pants on and force myself out of my comfort zone and do it, because, this was one of my stand out Summer stays this year. Manorbier had everything I would want in a weekend Pembrokeshire escape. Castles, beaches, great places to eat, and a village pub and shop. My accommodation was perfect. Quiet, serene, private and enclosed, and just minutes away from the Wales coast path and everything that it has to offer. Next trip is already in the pipeline for here, and I can’t wait. Today was a first for me. I have a lovely couple on their mini honeymoon who arrived this afternoon. I stopped short with rose petals on the bed and towel sculptures. I cannot do any of that sort of things! Sadly, my local town did not have a banner that I would have really liked, so I felt this one would be okay with a congratulations card. What do you think?

This was taken by myself not AI generated when I went with Voyages of Discovery in 2012 on an offshore trip to the Smalls lighthouse. It was luck I took this photo of this dolphin about to surface.I am going offshore sometime in the next 10 days so hopefully I will see plenty of dolphins and gannets once again to Grassholm Island. I doubt I will ever be able to take a photo like this ever again!

What do you like to do on a seaside holiday? Well you could take a 6 minute walk to Manorbier beach and have a swim, or you could walk along the Pembrokeshire Coast Path to two other beaches around Manorbier, or you could relax reading a book on the sunloungers, alternatively having a chilled white wine on the patio area. What takes your fancy. I only have three nights left this summer, the 16th August, three nights £450. Have you ever used Camp Coffee to make an iced coffee? Umbrellas up on the terrace for my new guests celebrating a special wedding anniversary. In the meantime it’s time for an iced coffee on the terrace.If you have not made one using Camp Coffee why not give it a whirl! PS it’s great with cows milk, oat milk, lactose, soya, coconut milk and all other non dairy alternatives!!! X

Have you ever seen a dandelion head this big?I know it does not look that big in the photo but there was a whole collection of them in a field with meadow flowers.I had not noticed there was unusually large dandelions when I walked through it the other day. Can anyone solve the mystery for me???

On a recent offshore trip to Grassholm Island to see the colony of Gannets, on our trip back we saw a huge number of gannets discovery a large shoal of fish. Usually you would expect to see dolphins active within the shoal, but we had no sightings of any dolphins. Still it was so spectacular to admire the aerobatics of the gannets, and just listen to their natural bird calls.#gannets.Thousand Islands ExpeditionsSea Breeze Beach House Manorbier

This is truly amazing what I discovered a recent guest wrote in my guest book in the beach house, particularly as the framework of the entire wooden structure is made of bespoke Glulam beams from Denmark, so I suppose it does accidently have a connection with the Danish word “Hygge”. I am chuffed pink with what they felt about staying here. I think one of them was my third architect who has come to stay because of this Scandi designed building. My new branded review card has arrived it will replace the three I have which I seem to knock over onto the floor everytime I clean the side table in the beach house!!So I thought why not give it a whirl and try it out all in one card .It covers Google,Facebook and Instagram so we will see😀😂. I could have done the clean sweep of TIK Tok , and Pinterest but I have not dipped my toe in those Social media areas! I have enough on my plate being the owner, cleaner, chief bottle washer, content creator, marketing slave and social media amateur oh not forgetting polishing my shower trap Oscar!🤣🤣🤣

Should it be in pride of place in the beach house in the bathroom or in the main sitting area on full display? Or is that too in your face for guests?? Or should it be in my house. Out on my walk tonight I came across this beautiful Welsh mountain foal. Gorgeous.

This is such a lovely time of year to be going on a woodland walk. I love the colour combination of wild garlic and bluebells. Plus you can use the wild garlic leaves and flowers in a dish that uses garlic, alternatively the wild garlic can be made into pesto using hazelnuts and/or pine nuts.

Following on from my last post debating as too whether to serve sticky gingerbread cake or lemon drizzle cake to my Bank Holiday Guests for their arrival to have with their tea. It got me thinking about asking you whether you like Gingerbread? Please feel free to choose, my multiple choice question. GINGERBREAD A.YES B. NO C. I PREFER ANOTHER CAKE CHOICE.
